The Role
This role sits at the heart of the product function. You’ll take full ownership of a product vertical, shaping its vision, roadmap and delivery approach. It’s a mix of customer problem-solving, strategic planning and hands-on product development.
You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering and Architecture teams, turning market, regulatory and customer needs into real solutions. The work is varied and impactful, especially if you enjoy solving complex problems in a regulated environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the vision and roadmap for a core product area
- Translate customer and regulatory insights into a prioritised, value-driven backlog
- Collaborate with architecture and development teams on scalable, secure solutions
- Balance delivery across regulatory commitments, customer enhancements and innovation
- Track product performance, delivery progress and commercial impact
- Represent your product area in planning and governance forums
- Work directly with customers and wider industry stakeholders to validate requirements
- Ensure each release is fully prepared for operational rollout
What You’ll Bring
- Product Management experience in a complex or multi-stakeholder environment
- Understanding of energy networks or regulated industries (ideal but not essential)
- Ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working in agile delivery teams
- Strong prioritisation, communication and decision-making skills
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and shifting priorities
- A collaborative approach and confidence working across all levels of an organisation

Bonus Experience
- Knowledge of UK energy regulation (Ofgem, BSC, REC, SEC)
- Experience with flexibility markets, constraint management or optimisation tools
- Familiarity with network or asset management systems
