Senior Account Manager – Automotive

 

A growing full-service marketing agency is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their team and take the lead on one of their busiest automotive accounts. They’ve expanded into new UK regions recently and are working across creative, digital, strategy and development for a wide mix of clients. It’s an ambitious environment with a lot of movement and plenty of room to grow.

 

This role focuses on a fast-growing automotive account that includes established brands and new EV names entering the UK market. With several launches planned for next year, they need someone confident and organised who can bring structure to a busy team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of client account programmes and campaigns from start to finish.
  • Oversee day-to-day project management across multiple accounts.
  • Produce high-quality briefs and ensure internal teams adhere to them.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop engaging campaigns.
  • Support strategic development of client accounts through structured marketing plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal colleagues.
  • Deliver projects across creative, design, web, and production channels.
  • Analyse campaign performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes to meet or exceed KPIs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client businesses, brands, and target audiences.
  • Present campaign updates and strategic recommendations to clients.
  • Introduce new techniques, tools, and technologies to improve internal processes and campaign performance.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and share relevant insights with the team.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree-level education or higher.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within a marketing or communications agency.
  • Proven ability to manage projects to deadlines and budgets.
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
