Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Litigation Attorney with 5-8 years of experience in the appellate and trial courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing a diverse caseload and achieving favorable outcomes for clients. While experience in insurance coverage litigation is a plus, it is not a prerequisite for this position. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile cases and contribute to the firm's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil litigation and other legal proceedings, both in trial and appellate courts throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Develop and implement sophisticated legal strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex issues.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, motions, and appeals.
• Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding their legal rights and obligations.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediations and arbitrations.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the efficient and effective management of cases.
• Stay abreast of developments in the law and contribute to the firm's knowledge base.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• 5-8 years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have practiced in the appellate and trial courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Insurance coverage litigation experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
