Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a prestigious electrical contractor to help them find an Electrical Design Engineer.

Our client is the most established design-build contractor in the southeast with clients reaching across the Carolinas and greater United States. You'd be joining a highly collaborative, team-focused culture that serves a variety of industries ranging from power, corporate interior, eco-living / mixed-use, healthcare, sports, military, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work under the direction of the Director of Engineering supporting efforts to design/estimate/efficiently construct projects.
• Routinely meet with appropriate parties to verify the designs have been developed in a manner that is effective for the client and is useful for in-field construction.
• Assist in developing methods and procedures to ensure consistency in company engineering and design efforts.
• Ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical system specifications and technical/permit drawings.
• Establish construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
• Ensure SEC design and BIM standards are followed for all jobs the engineer is responsible for.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, and support for testing activities.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field/experience
• Revit, AutoCAD experience
• Minimum 2 years experience in consulting or design/build industry.
