Role: Regional Engineer
Contract: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Location: Flexible base (to be discussed at interview)
Salary: £65,500 per year + car allowance + annual bonus eligibility
About the Role
H9 Talent Solutions are supporting a valued client in the search for a Regional Engineer. This is a strategic role within the operational leadership team, where you will be responsible for ensuring the long-term availability, safety, and performance of Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs) across the UK. You’ll work closely with site teams, providing expert engineering support, leading outage planning, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead outage planning and delivery across multiple ERF sites.
- Provide expert engineering guidance and support to local site teams.
- Oversee engineering budgets, lifecycle planning, and CAPEX forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Support risk management through FM Global engagement.
- Promote engineering best practice and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct site visits, audits, and performance reviews.
Candidate Profile
- HNC or higher in Engineering (or equivalent).
- IOSH safety qualification.
- Significant experience within the power or process industries.
- Strong knowledge of pressure systems and relevant maintenance legislation.
- Proven expertise in outage planning and contractor management.
- Excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
