About the Role

H9 Talent Solutions are currently recruiting for three Riggers to join a leading subcontractor on a long-term project based in Deeside. These positions offer the opportunity to work on a major industrial project with a highly regarded engineering contractor. The successful candidates will be responsible for executing rigging and lifting operations under the supervision of the Rigging Supervisor, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently in line with lifting plans and site procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out rigging, slinging, and lifting operations on site.
• Inspect lifting gear and ensure all equipment is certified and fit for use.
• Follow detailed lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Work closely with crane operators and supervisors to complete lifts safely.
• Assist in the setup and dismantling of lifting equipment and structures.
• Maintain a high standard of safety awareness and housekeeping on site.
• Report any defects, hazards, or unsafe conditions immediately.

Qualifications & Experience

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Rigging or equivalent qualification.
• Valid CSCS / CCNSG Safety Passport.
• Valid rigging or slinging certification (CPCS / NPORS / ECITB preferred).
• Previous experience working on large industrial or construction projects.
• Good understanding of safe lifting practices and HSE requirements.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
