Title – Investment Associate

Overview

H9 Talent Solutions are hiring for an Associate / VP to work at our clients Mining and Metals advisory team in London where you will be responsible for executing and overseeing multiple live transactions and client engagements simultaneously across the Metals & Mining sector.


Role and Responsibilities:

 

·       Lead teams in the preparation of financial and economic analyses, valuation models, and industry materials to support client decision-making

·       Drive the creation of transaction documents including information memoranda, management presentations, and offering materials.

·       Manage and mentor junior bankers to ensure high-quality execution while fostering professional development.

·       Play an active role in business development by originating and advancing strategic ideas, supporting client relationship management, and identifying new opportunities within the Metals & Mining sector.

·       Engage directly with clients and senior stakeholders to present analyses, develop solutions, and contribute to the execution of complex M&A and financing transactions.

·       Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments to provide timely, relevant insights to clients and internal teams.


Qualifications and Experience:

 

·       Prior experience in investment banking, advisory, or a related financial services role.

·       Exposure to Metals & Mining or broader natural resources transactions required.

·       Strong technical skills with proven ability to build and oversee complex financial models, conduct valuations, and perform financial statement analysis.

·       Leadership capabilities with experience managing teams and projects in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

·       Strong client-facing skills with the ability to develop long-term relationships and contribute to business growth.

·       Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.

·       Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
