Overview

H9 Talent Solutions are hiring for an Investment Associate to work for our investment client in the Energy Team where you will be responsible for the execution of M&A and capital markets transactions, sector coverage, and client engagement.

Role and Responsibilities:

·       Lead the preparation of financial models, valuation analyses, pitch materials and transaction documentation

·       Manage day-to-day deal execution, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors.

·       Support origination by conducting sector research, analyzing market trends and identifying client opportunities.

·       Oversee and mentor junior analysts, ensuring high standards of analysis and presentation.

·       Participate in client meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.

Experience and Qualifications:

·       Minimum of 3 years’ experience in investment banking, corporate finance or private equity, ideally with energy or natural resources exposure.

·       Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.

·       Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

·       Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a collaborative team culture.

·       Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) a plus.
