Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator with a strong background in system and application migrations to support large-scale infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Red Hat Linux environments, application support, and executing structured server migrations.

This role will focus on moving applications and services between environments, ensuring minimal downtime and consistent performance post-migration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute end-to-end Linux server migrations across a diverse infrastructure environment
• Analyze existing systems and applications to develop detailed migration strategies and timelines
• Build and document repeatable migration processes to support efficiency and consistency
• Ensure system stability and application functionality during and after migration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues proactively
• Maintain system integrity, security, and compliance throughout the migration lifecycle
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting in a Red Hat Linux environment

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Linux system administration (Red Hat preferred)
• Strong experience with application and server migrations
• Familiarity with automation tools or scripting to streamline migration efforts
• Solid understanding of system performance tuning, package management, and user management
• Strong troubleshooting skills for application or system-related issues during migration
• Clear documentation and communication skills



Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, or other CI/CD and automation tools
• Familiarity with cloud or virtual environments (e.g., VMware, AWS, Azure)
• Exposure to Kubernetes or containerized environments (a plus but not required)
