Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced F5 Network Engineer with solid expertise in F5 technologies. This role involves designing, deploying, and supporting F5-based solutions that safeguard, optimize, and scale enterprise applications and network infrastructure. The engineer will work hands-on with BIG-IP platforms and be responsible for traffic management, security implementations, and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage F5 BIG-IP solutions including LTM, DNS/GTM, and APM.
- Deploy and configure authentication methods such as SAML and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
- Develop and manage advanced iRules and policies for business-critical applications.
- Enhance application performance with load balancing, SSL offloading, and traffic routing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve F5-related issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with network, application, and security teams to integrate F5 solutions.
- Monitor F5 platforms with analytics and visibility tools to identify and mitigate risks.
- Configure and maintain F5 WAF to defend against web-based attacks.
- Automate recurring tasks using APIs, Ansible, or other scripting frameworks.
- Maintain system upgrades, F5OS patches, and documentation of policies and procedures.
- Stay informed on emerging F5 technologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years working with F5 technologies, including BIG-IP (LTM, APM, GTM/DNS).
- Strong experience building and troubleshooting iRules.
- Solid understanding of Layer 4–7 traffic management, HTTP, and SSL/TLS.
- Hands-on experience with F5 WAF and related security policies.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
- Experience using automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python, REST APIs).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications

F5 certifications (CTS or CSE).
- Exposure to F5 cloud solutions such as Cloud Edition or Distributed Cloud Services.
- Experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Splunk, or Zabbix.
