This is a full-time contract role based in Dallas, TX. As a Salesforce Developer Contractor, you will be part of the Investor Services Team, working closely with our CRM Systems Specialist to support high-priority projects focused on enhancing our Salesforce instance and related integrations. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce development, API integrations, and project management principles. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, self-directed individual with a proven track record of delivering successful Salesforce solutions.


PLEASE NOTE: This role requires eligibility to work on W2 without a visa transfer and without sponsorship. There is a possibility for the role to go permanent in the future. Not open for C2C.


The Salesforce Developer will be a member of the Investor Services team. Responsibilities include:

 

•        Development & Integrations: Develop custom Salesforce solutions, including Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components, and integrations with other internal systems and external data sources via APIs (e.g., SunGard DX).

•        API Management: Design, develop, and maintain APIs for seamless data exchange between Salesforce and other critical systems. Experience with REST and SOAP APIs is essential.

•        Data Migration & Management: Assist with data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy during transitions. Develop and maintain data management processes within Salesforce.

•        Technical Support: Provide technical support to the Salesforce Specialist and other team members on Salesforce-related issues, troubleshooting problems, and identifying solutions.

•        Project Execution: Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and deployment.

•        Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions.

•        Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the stability and performance of Salesforce customizations and integrations.

•        Best Practices: Adhere to Salesforce development best practices and contribute to improving our internal development standards.

 

 

Requirements:

•     Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges.

•        Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

•        Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with other developers and stakeholders.

•        Salesforce Expertise: Proven experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and API integrations.

•        Integration Experience: Strong understanding of API concepts and experience integrating Salesforce with other systems, particularly financial systems like SunGard DX.

•        Flow Proficiency: Must be skilled in designing and implementing various Salesforce Flows (Screen, Autolaunched, Scheduled, Record-Triggered) to automate business processes and data transformations, minimizing Apex trigger usage.

•        Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

•   Self-Starter: Highly motivated and self-directed individual with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

 

Nice to Have:

•        Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Integration Architecture Designer)

•        Experience with CRM systems and investor services systems (particularly Salesforce)

•        Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

•        Experience with data migration tools

•        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

•        Experience in alternative investments a plus

•        Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in a high-volume environment

•        Strong sense of urgency; ability to execute efficiently with strong attention to detail

•        Comfort working in a high growth, iterative environment
