We are currently in search of a Development Assistant for a healthcare nonprofit. This is a part-time, temporary position with an anticipated hourly rate of $24-26/hour commensurate with experience. This role is expected to start ASAP, through January 2026 with the possibility of being extended.

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Healthcare Nonprofit

LOCATION: Remote, operating on Eastern Stand Time (EST)

POSITION TITLE: Development Assistant

SCHEDULE: Part-time, 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 4 hours per day (flexible within business hours)

DURATION: Temporary, through January, with possibility of extension

HOURLY RATE: $24-$26/hour

Is This Your Dream Job? The Development Assistant will support the organization’s fundraising and donor operations, including gift processing, constituent correspondence, and event management—while assisting the Development team and senior leadership with administrative tasks and special projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven healthcare nonprofit environment.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• 1+ years of gift processing/gift entry experience
• 1+ years of relevant nonprofit administrative experience
• Prior experience with customer service
• Familiarity with Salesforce, a plus but not required

How You Will Spend Your Day:

• Assisting with gift processing and tracking incoming donations
• Managing constituent data, including gift entry and updates from donation forms, mailing list sign-ups, event registrations, and outreach activities
• Supporting the Development team and senior leadership with event coordination and administrative tasks
