VP/Sr. Director Marketing

ABOUT THIS ROLE
We're looking for a highly skilled VP/Senior Director, Marketing to holistically manage the team to help us promote our products and identify what consumers want, and support sales in managing demand and advocacy for our suite of products. The ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience and comprehensive knowledge of branding. This person must be able to lead a team of marketers, content developers, designers, and specialists. The role reports to the President/Chief Revenue Officer working alongside other business leaders.
OBJECTIVES:
- Operate as the marketing function leader to collaborate with business team to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies for existing and new products
- Oversee and grow the marketing department by driving awareness and adoption of current and upcoming products
- Identify short- and long-term scheduling and resource needs, including development and management of annual marketing budget, profit-and-loss projections, and expenditures
- Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analysis, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for marketing team
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead development of marketing strategy by working closely with clients, managers, creatives, content providers, and distribution partners to create effective plans focused on growing the audience for
- Spearhead the execution of marketing campaigns, including test and control group segmentation, testing, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations
- Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive customer interest and sales
- Conduct meetings regularly with account managers to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and brainstorm possible solutions, and provide training to ensure team is consistently performing above standard
- Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and provide post-event reports and analysis
Required skills and qualifications
- Minimum 12+ years of marketing experience with at least 3 years managing a team; successful track record in senior marketing role and with strategy and execution experience
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Experience in funnel management, product marketing, digital marketing, content creation. Experience in payment technology, fintech, financial services industries strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related fields
- Proficiency with HTML, content management systems, and design software
- Experience managing press agencies and developing internal/external communications
- Strong ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally in a matrix organization
