Industrial Assistant Construction Project Manager

Reports To: Project Manager

Job Summary:

Support Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing industrial construction projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and maintain timelines.
  • Review project specs, contracts, and drawings for compliance.
  • Manage project documentation (reports, schedules, budgets).
  • Conduct site visits for progress, safety, and quality checks.
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders.
  • Support procurement efforts, including purchase orders and vendor relations.
  • Resolve field conflicts and manage change orders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years in industrial construction/project management.
  • Experience with large-scale industrial projects preferred.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of industrial construction practices, methods, and codes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications:
  • OSHA 30 (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
  • PMP or equivalent certification (a plus).
