Industrial Assistant Construction Project Manager
Reports To: Project Manager
Job Summary:
Support Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing industrial construction projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and maintain timelines.
- Review project specs, contracts, and drawings for compliance.
- Manage project documentation (reports, schedules, budgets).
- Conduct site visits for progress, safety, and quality checks.
- Facilitate communication with stakeholders.
- Support procurement efforts, including purchase orders and vendor relations.
- Resolve field conflicts and manage change orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 3+ years in industrial construction/project management.
- Experience with large-scale industrial projects preferred.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of industrial construction practices, methods, and codes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications:
- OSHA 30 (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
- PMP or equivalent certification (a plus).
