Currently, we are searching for a San Carlos, CA based Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist for a highly respected distributor in the stone fabrication industry. This is a full-time, detail-focused role supporting both customer billing and vendor payments.
The primary responsibility is to manage invoicing, collections, and payment processing while supporting the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process customer invoices and apply incoming payments
- Follow up on outstanding balances and handle collections professionally
- Manage vendor invoices and schedule payments accurately and on time
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
- Collaborate with internal teams on purchase orders and billing issues
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years experience in A/R and A/P functions
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear communication and ability to follow up with customers and vendors
- Experience in a distribution or construction environment is a plus
COMPENSATION
- Pay = $27–$35 per hour, depending on experience
- Full insurance coverage (medical, dental, vision)
- 401(k) with 4–5% company match (fully vested immediately)
