Currently, we are searching for a Route Sales Rep based near Charlotte with experience in the tool and/or stone industry. Our client is a distributor and developer of stone fabrication tools and supplies (diamond products, abrasives, adhesive, PPE, etc) with over 15,000 SKUs across multiple branded products and price points.
Your job will be to drive a "Warehouse On Wheels" (custom van) to various shops in the area and sell their products to shop owners, shop managers, and other shop employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive around the territory in a van full of inventory selling stone fabrication tools primarily to stone fabricators.
- You'll have set routes for efficiency and will stop at each shop regularly (12-15 customers a day)-- drive up to a shop, shop guys will come to the truck and buy what they need, then you'll head inside and meet with management to consult and see what else you could help with
- Load and unload your van weekly and maintain necessary inventory (including special requests from customers).
- Spend some time researching shops in your territory to add new customers and increase your territory sales/commission.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge or experience with stone fabrication shops and the tools/products they use
- Spanish Fluency (preferred)
- Clean driving record
COMPENSATION:

Year 1 Total Comp Expectation = $60,000-$75,000+

Base = $50,000-$55,000

Commission = 2% of GROSS sales (Example: $1,000,000 gross sales = $20,000 commission)
