Currently, we are searching for an Outside Sales Representative based in North Carolina with experience in the tool and/or stone industry. Our client is a distributor of stone fabrication/CNC tools and supplies (diamond products, core bits, abrasives, adhesive, etc).
Your job will be to drive a "Warehouse On Wheels" (custom van) to stone fab shops and sell to shop owners, managers, and other shop employees. This is an established territory! You'll have the opportunity to essentially run your own business under their umbrella, set your own schedule, and make what you want to make. $200,000+ compensation is well within reach for this territory within 3-5 years!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive a custom van full of inventory selling stone fabrication tools throughout your territory with boundaries that can stretch from Charlotte, North to Pittsburgh, East to Philadelphia, and down the East Coast back to Charlotte.
- You'll have route planning software for efficiency and will stop at each shop regularly -- drive up to a shop, shop guys come to the truck and buy what they need, then head inside and meet with management to consult and see what else you could help with
- Load and unload your van weekly and maintain inventory
- Spend some time researching shops in your territory to add new customers and increase your territory sales/commission.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in the Stone countertop/tooling industry (REQUIRED)
- Ambition to grow a territory with the resources of an established and respected company
- Clean driving record
COMPENSATION:

Year 1 Total Comp Expectation = $80,000-$100,000+

Base = $50,000-$70,000
