Machinist Apprentice

Location: Summerville, South Carolina

Pay: $16–$18/hr

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

You’ll start by supporting the shop team and learning the fundamentals - and once you’ve proven yourself (over your first 90 days), you’ll begin cross-training on state-of-the-art fabrication equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support other shop or warehouse tasks as needed
• Safely handle large stone slabs (note: different from typical box lifting)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the stone, granite, or countertop industry is a plus
• Forklift operation experience is a plus
• Willingness to pitch in across different roles as needed
• Dependable and punctual with a team-oriented mindset
• Background in warehouse or material handling roles a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $16–$18/hr (based on experience)
• 100% Health Insurance after 60 days (employee only)
• Family, dental, and vision plans available at employee's expense
