Compensation: $24 to $28 per hour, DOE; overtime eligible

Schedule: Monday to Friday; on first job by 8:00 a.m.; 40 to 60 hours per week; some weekends during peak periods

About the Role

Toor Countertops is hiring a Measurement Technician to capture precise field measurements for residential and commercial stone projects. You will create accurate digital templates, coordinate handoffs with CAD and production, and keep jobs on schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Measure and template custom countertops using Raptor
• Upload templates, photos, and notes daily or by the next day
• Document site conditions and details, including squareness and level, overhangs, reveals, seam locations, support needs, and backsplash heights and returns
• Capture all cutout requirements, including sinks, faucets, and cooktops; verify centerlines, clearances, and specs
• Organize photos and job notes; maintain documentation in Stone App according to Toor standards
• Check in each morning with stops for the day and expected arrival times
• Provide clean, buildable handoffs for CAD and production; review redlines and resolve issues early
• Learn advanced applications over time, including vertical wall panels, return miters, reveals, and flush edges

Workload and Territory

• Volume varies by job; some projects take multiple days; other days include up to four houses
• Typical baseline is 200 to 300 square feet per day, with days above or below that based on scope
• Coverage is generally within an 80-mile radius of the shop, with occasional jobs beyond that range
• Dispatch from home most days; visit the shop about once per week

What You Bring

• Experience as a templater or measurement technician, or strong measurement experience from a related trade
• Proficiency with digital templating systems; Raptor experience preferred
• Ability to read construction drawings and verify site readiness
• Strong note taking, photo documentation, and file organization
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a strong plus; not required
• Valid driver’s license with a record that meets company standards
• Professional communication, attention to detail, and steady follow through in a fast-paced environment
• Portfolio requested; include 2 to 3 example templates or photos of field documentation
