Intervene K-12 is positioning itself to become a leader in global education. We are rapidly expanding and looking for a self-driven, resourceful, and experienced Leaded for C&I to significantly enhance our instructional capabilities to support measured student growth. 


Job Summary: 

The Head of Curriculum, Content, and Instruction (C&I) is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and overseeing high-quality K-12 curricula, instructional strategies, and content creation tailored for live online instruction. This role ensures exceptional educational outcomes by managing content writers, guiding online instructors, and leveraging data analytics to optimize teaching practices and student performance. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of C&I drives strategic decisions to align curriculum and instructional quality with the organization’s vision and goals. 

The ideal candidate has a strong background in curriculum development, instructional design, educational leadership, and team management, with a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced ed-tech environment. 


Key Responsibilities: 

1. Curriculum and Content Development: 

o Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of K-12 curricula for live online instruction. 

o Manage a team of content writers to produce high-quality, engaging, standards-aligned instructional materials and lessons that address diverse learning needs. 

o Ensure that all content supports differentiated instruction and incorporates innovative teaching methods and technology. 

2. Instructional Leadership: 

o Act as the lead educator, modeling best practices in instruction and pedagogy. 

o Provide actionable feedback and coaching to online instructors to enhance teaching effectiveness. 

o Design and deliver professional development programs focused on pedagogy, technology integration, and student engagement. 

3. Data-Driven Decision Making: 

o Analyze student performance and instructional quality data to identify trends and inform curriculum and teaching adjustments. 

o Utilize data insights to personalize instruction and address learning gaps effectively. 

o Develop strategies to improve student growth and achieve targeted learning outcomes. 

4. Team Leadership and Collaboration: 

o Oversee and mentor content writers, instructional designers, and online educators to foster collaboration and innovation. 

o Build a cohesive team culture focused on educational excellence and student growth. 

o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, technology, and operations, to align curriculum and instructional delivery with organizational goals. 

5. Quality Assurance and Compliance: 

o Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure high standards in curriculum, content, and instruction. 

o Regularly evaluate and refine instructional materials to meet organizational goals and learner needs. 

o Ensure compliance with educational regulations, standards, and best practices. 

6. Strategic Alignment: 

o Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to align curriculum and instructional strategies with the company’s vision and goals. 

o Drive initiatives that enhance the organization's reputation for delivering exceptional educational outcomes. 


Required Skills: 

· Expertise in K-12 curriculum standards, instructional design, and online teaching methodologies. 

· Proven experience managing and mentoring content writers and instructional teams. 

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide educators and content creators. 

· Proficiency in data analytics to inform instructional practices and improve student outcomes. 

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences. 

· Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications: 

· Master’s degree or higher in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field. 

· 10+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional leadership, or content management in K-12 education. 

· Proven track record of delivering measurable student growth in an online or blended learning environment. 

· Deep understanding of educational technology tools and platforms. 


Preferred Characteristics: 

· Experience in teacher coaching and professional development. 

· Familiarity with adaptive learning models and personalized instruction strategies. 

· Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
