We are currently seeking a motivated Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our dynamic team.
**Position Overview:**
The Comprehensive Ophthalmologist will be responsible for providing a full spectrum of eye care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery for a variety of eye conditions. This role requires a combination of surgical skills, clinical acumen, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of ophthalmic conditions, including glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.
- Perform surgical procedures, including but not limited to cataract surgery, laser treatments, LASIK/PRK, MIGS, pterygium surgery, clear lens exchange, and other minor surgical interventions as needed.
- Provide comprehensive eye exams and vision care.
- Offer pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing ophthalmic surgery.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of the latest advancements in ophthalmology.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care within the clinic.
**Qualifications:**
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completed residency in ophthalmology in the US.
- Board certified or board eligible in Ophthalmology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Texas.
- Excellent surgical and clinical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on compassionate patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
