Intervene K-12 is positioning itself to become a leader in global education. We are rapidly expanding and looking for a self-driven, resourceful, and experienced Leaded for C&I to significantly enhance our instructional capabilities to support measured student growth.
What We Are Looking For - As an SDR and opportunity Appointment Setter for our Education Technology Sales team, you will play a critical role in the sales pipeline by reaching out to prospective clients, qualifying leads, and setting appointments for our Account Executives. Your goal will be to identify opportunities in the education space (K-12, Higher Ed, and EdTech stakeholders), understand their pain points, and schedule meetings to demonstrate how our solutions can address their needs.

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Research and identify potential leads in the education sector (schools, school districts, state dept of education, and partnering education organizations, etc.) using CRM tools, databases, and other outreach strategies.

Outbound Outreach:
- Initiate outreach to prospective clients through phone calls, emails, social media (LinkedIn), and other channels to engage in meaningful conversations about their educational technology needs.

Qualification of Leads:
- Qualify leads based on specific criteria (e.g., budget, size, pain points, decision-making authority) to ensure a good fit for the company's solutions.

Appointment Setting:
- Effectively communicate with prospects, understand their needs, and schedule discovery calls or product demos with Account Executives.

Collaboration with Sales Team:
- Work closely with Account Executives to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads, provide them with background information, and maintain strong communication for seamless sales execution.

CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), track activities, and monitor metrics such as lead conversion rates, number of calls/emails sent, and appointments set.

Continuous Learning:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in education technology, sales techniques, and industry trends to effectively communicate value to prospects.

Reporting:
- Provide regular reports to sales management on lead generation activity, appointment setting results, and feedback from prospects to help improve sales processes.
Skills & Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience:
- Prior experience in sales development, lead generation, or appointment setting, especially in the EdTech or education space, is a plus but not required.

Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with education decision-makers.

Goal-Oriented:
- Proven ability to meet and exceed lead generation and appointment-setting targets in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Tech-Savvy:
- Comfort using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), email automation tools, and other sales technologies to streamline outreach and improve efficiency.

- Ability to quickly identify a prospect’s pain points and offer the right solutions through thoughtful questions and insights.

Adaptability & Learning:
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the sales profession, with a focus on education technology solutions and the education sector.
