DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer | Remote (UTC +/- 4) | Blockchain Infrastructure | Up to €100K
We are working with a cryptography-first start-up building privacy-preserving infrastructure for blockchain. Their platform gives developers simple, secure access to confidential smart contracts, think Infura or Alchemy, but confidential by default.
You’ll take ownership of the developer platform foundations, from scaling APIs to building automation and observability. Expect hands-on impact across cloud infrastructure, security, and developer tooling, while shaping how confidential applications are built and scaled.
Day-to-Day
- Operate the API management layer and developer portal (keys, quotas, rate limits, tenant policies)
- Build and maintain services and plugins in Go or Rust
- Design CI/CD pipelines and release automation for safe, frequent deployments
- Deliver security-by-default with strong authentication, secrets management, and audit trails
- Establish observability (logs, metrics, SLOs, alerts) and automate incident response
- Optimise performance, cost, and multi-region scaling with GDPR in mind
Skills/Experience
- 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering
- Blockchain infrastructure experience, ideally Ethereum-based, on AWS
- Strong skills in Go or Rust (plus Python/TypeScript for scripting)
- API management platforms (Tyk, Kong, WSO2) and identity tools (Auth0, Okta, Keycloak)
- Proficient with Terraform, Pulumi, or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools
