DevOps Engineer | Hybrid New York | Crypto HFT Infrastructure | Salary plus Bonus

Albert Bow are partnering with a rapidly scaling crypto high-frequency trading firm following a $100m Series B raise. They’re building next-generation infrastructure for digital asset trading, combining low-latency execution with institutional-grade reliability. They are expanding their core engineering team in New York.

You’ll play a key role in scaling and securing their API-driven trading platform, working closely with backend and trading engineers to optimise performance, observability, and deployment pipelines across global markets.

Day-to-Day

• Operate and scale trading and data APIs serving global low-latency systems
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (FluxCD, GitHub Actions, Terraform)
• Improve system reliability, monitoring, and automation across production infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineering and trading teams to optimise performance and fault tolerance
• Design and implement robust infrastructure for high-throughput API services

Skills / Experience

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar)
• Proficiency in Golang or Rust (Python scripting a plus)
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures and container orchestration
• Experience in high-performance, low-latency, or trading environments is highly advantageous

This is a hands-on role in a high-impact engineering team, offering autonomy, technical challenge, and exposure to crypto market infrastructure at scale.
