Why Join Us?

Are you a bookkeeping expert who loves to lead, coach, and organize? Join this dynamic firm, founded in 2012, that helps small businesses and non-profit organizations achieve their financial goals through personalized service and education.

We provide bookkeeping, payroll management, and financial advisory services for small businesses and non-profit organizations.

We operate on EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) and pride ourselves on a culture of Teamwork, Humble Confidence, and Patience. If you’re ready for a role where your bookkeeping expertise drives a team’s success—without handling the day-to-day data entry—this is your chance!

What You’ll Do (The Core Focus)

This is a 100% Supervisory Role—you are fully responsible for the accounting team, not the hands-on client work. You are the leader, coach, and quality expert for our entire accounting team, including Leads and Associates (8 direct reports).

Lead & Coach: Manage team performance, conduct evaluations, and mentor your direct reports to build their leadership capabilities.

Quality Control (QC): Serve as the ultimate subject matter expert (SME). Conduct file reviews to identify issues before they reach the client, ensuring accuracy and adherence to firm standards.

Project Management & Accountability: Own the workflow—track due dates, manage bandwidth, ensure timely task completion, and maintain accountability to all SOPs.

Client Success: Handle escalated issues, guide clients toward solutions, and maintain high-level relationships with our diverse and interesting clientele.

What You’ll Bring (Must-Haves)

  • Experience: 10+ years of bookkeeping experience, plus at least 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Bookkeeping Expertise: Deep understanding of advanced bookkeeping principles and best practices.
  • Firm Background: Experience in a multi-client environment; background in a bookkeeping or accounting firm preferred.
  • Management Skills: Proven experience leading teams, conducting performance reviews, hiring, resolving conflicts, and holding people accountable.
  • Quality & Detail: Exceptionally detail-oriented, with a talent for identifying and correcting errors through careful review.
  • Operational Skills: Strong project management, task prioritization, and experience improving SOPs and processes.
  • Team Management: Comfortable managing remote and offshore team members effectively.
  • Tech Stack: Proficiency with QuickBooks (Online and Desktop preferred).

Perks

  • Fully Remote: Work from home while operating on EST hours.
  • Competitive Pay: $90k - $120k base salary, with flexibility for the right fit.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Term Life, 401k Matching, Paid Holidays, PTO, and Sick Time.
