We are currently searching for a Staff Liaison for a Professional and Scientific Society Nonprofit organizationThis is a Full-Time (35 hrs./wk.), Fully Remote, Temporary (through the end of February 2026) assignment.

 

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Professional and Scientific Society Nonprofit

LOCATION: Fully Remote

POSITION TITLE: Staff Liaison

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday/ Full Time (35 hrs./wk.); must be available to flex your schedule for probable after-hour meetings (6 -8 PM EST)

DURATION: Temporary (through the end of February 2026)

HOURLY PAY: $26-28/hour

 

Is This Your Dream Job: The Staff Liaison will support the Chief of Staff with meetings, liaising with Members, Special Interest Groups, Volunteer Leaders, and Distinguished members of the organization.

 

Our Ideal Candidate:


  • 3+ years of administrative support/project management experience, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization
  • Proficient with project management software (Monday.com highly preferred), MS Office (i.e., Excel), and SharePoint
  • Experience with managing meetings, supporting committees, or volunteers, preferably in the nonprofit sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident in coordinating and liaising between high-level and distinguished members/professionals


How You Will Spend Your Day:


  • Serves as the main point of contact between the committee and the organization's staff and leadership
  • Will support the committee’s operations and logistics with administrative, strategic, and planning guidance
  • Scheduling of meetings, preparing agendas, distributing materials, and maintaining records and documentation
  • Coordinating logistics for events, projects, or initiatives
  • Facilitating communication across departments and committees, including providing updates and relaying feedback
