We are currently recruiting for a Bridgehouse Manager (Non-Licensed) for a Behavioral Health Services Nonprofit located in Waukegan, IL. This is a Full Time (40 hrs./wk.), Fully In-Person, Direct Hire role.

 

ORGANIZATION: Behavioral Health Services Nonprofit

LOCATION: Waukegan, IL

POSITION TITLE: Bridgehouse Manager (Non-Licensed)

DURATION: Direct Hire

PAY RATE: $60,000-70,000/yr. plus excellent benefits

 

Is This Your Dream Job? As the Bridgehouse Manager (Non-Licensed), you will support overseeing the daily operations of the residential behavioral health program. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for both clients and staff.

 

 Our Ideal Candidate:

 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a residential behavioral health setting
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in substance abuse treatment, halfway house, or similar setting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and resolve complex issues


 

How Will You Spend Your Day:

 

  • Oversee all Bridge House operations, including budgeting, staffing, and facility maintenance
  • Manage client fees/rent collection and budget monitoring
  • Coordinate meal preparation with the dietician and maintain facility upkeep
  • Maintain accurate reporting to court services and referral sources
  • Supervise and schedule support staff, clinical staff, volunteers, and interns
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of staff documentation and reports
  • Provide ongoing training and support to staff
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with service providers, referral sources, and community stakeholders
  • Deliver individual and group counseling and education; participate in treatment planning and aftercare programs
  • Respond appropriately to crisis, emergency, or trauma situations
  • Serve on-call for house emergencies
  • Attend staff meetings and trainings as scheduled
