We are currently in search of an Education & Events Coordinator for a Healthcare Association. The position is Hybrid in Washington, DC. This is a full-time, temporary to permanent position.

SCHEDULE: 40 hours/week
DURATION: Temporary-to-Perm
HOURLY RATE: $25.00 - $28.00
Is This Your Dream Job? The Education & Events Coordinator will provide support to the Director in the planning, execution, and evaluation of both in-person and virtual events throughout the year. The ideal candidate is proactive with a strong attention to detail and thrives in a heavily collaborative environment.
Our Ideal Candidate:
· Prior experience in event coordination required – preferably within an association
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Zoom Webinar
· Tech savvy, able to quickly pick up new systems
· Graphic design experience with Canva a plus
· Team-player with an all-hands-on-deck mentality
How You Will Spend Your Day:
· Assist in planning and coordinating events and webinars, including an understanding of event management platforms, logistics, vendor management, registration, scheduling, presentations, onsite support, communications, and technical support.
· Manage event timelines and checklists under the supervision of the Director of Education & Events.
· Coordinate with internal team members and external partners to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met.
· Oversee event registration attendee communications, including invitations, confirmations, and post-event follow-ups.
· Collaborate with marketing team members to support the advertisement of events.
· Track event performance metrics and assist with post-event reports.
· Set up and provide live technical support for webinars and virtual meetings.
