Event Manager
Location: Fort Lauderdale
Salary- $80-$90K
We are hiring an experienced Event Manager to support high impact events from planning through flawless setup and strike.
This is a hands on, fast paced role for someone who thrives in the field, can manage moving parts, and knows how to keep events running smoothly under pressure.
What you’ll do:
• Coordinate event logistics, including load ins, load outs, trucking, labor schedules, equipment movement, rentals, inventory, and fabricated assets
• Serve as the on site point of contact for operations teams, crew leads, vendors, and venue partners
• Read and interpret event boards, packing lists, renders, diagrams, and production notes
• Lead setup and strike crews while ensuring safety, professionalism, and efficiency
• Troubleshoot real time challenges related to timing, space, labor, weather, and last minute changes
• Support post event reporting and identify opportunities for improvement
Ideal background:
• 5+ years of event planning, logistics, or event operations experience
• Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience managing timelines, budgets, vendors, crews, and client expectations
• Comfortable working in fast paced, high pressure environments
• Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional travel
• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred
