HR Manager – Digital Marketing Agency

 

Permanent | Hybrid Remote

 

A fast-growing digital marketing agency is hiring an HR Manager to take full ownership of the HR function. You’ll work directly with the leadership team, support a distributed workforce across the UK and Europe, and play an active role in recruitment and people development.

 

The Role

This is a standalone HR position where around 25% of your time will be focused on recruitment. You’ll work closely with an HR Assistant and the senior leadership team to shape culture, improve processes, and ensure a smooth experience across the employee lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment across various departments
  • Partner with managers to scope roles, interview, and onboard new hires
  • Maintain and develop company policies and procedures
  • Provide HR advice in line with UK employment law
  • Manage employee relations, wellbeing, and performance processes
  • Oversee payroll, benefits, and HR systems
  • Contribute to projects including handbook updates and policy improvements
  • Support and guide a growing remote team with a collaborative approach

 

About You

  • Strong HR generalist background with end-to-end recruitment experience
  • Previous experience in a digital, creative, or tech-driven business
  • Confident working independently and managing multiple priorities
  • Good understanding of UK employment law
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working with international teams
  • CIPD Level 5+ qualification (or equivalent experience) preferred

 

Location & Working Pattern

  • Hybrid or remote working
  • If London-based: up to two days per week in the Soho office (within an hour’s commute ideal)
  • If based outside London: travel to the office once per quarter
