HR Manager – Digital Marketing Agency
Permanent | Hybrid Remote
A fast-growing digital marketing agency is hiring an HR Manager to take full ownership of the HR function. You’ll work directly with the leadership team, support a distributed workforce across the UK and Europe, and play an active role in recruitment and people development.
The Role
This is a standalone HR position where around 25% of your time will be focused on recruitment. You’ll work closely with an HR Assistant and the senior leadership team to shape culture, improve processes, and ensure a smooth experience across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment across various departments
- Partner with managers to scope roles, interview, and onboard new hires
- Maintain and develop company policies and procedures
- Provide HR advice in line with UK employment law
- Manage employee relations, wellbeing, and performance processes
- Oversee payroll, benefits, and HR systems
- Contribute to projects including handbook updates and policy improvements
- Support and guide a growing remote team with a collaborative approach
About You
- Strong HR generalist background with end-to-end recruitment experience
- Previous experience in a digital, creative, or tech-driven business
- Confident working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Good understanding of UK employment law
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working with international teams
- CIPD Level 5+ qualification (or equivalent experience) preferred
Location & Working Pattern
- Hybrid or remote working
- If London-based: up to two days per week in the Soho office (within an hour’s commute ideal)
- If based outside London: travel to the office once per quarter
