Medical Director (Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine)

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine physician with a strong background in medical leadership and value-based care. The ideal candidate will possess:

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of medical leadership/directorship experience
• Preferred Education: MBA
• Value-Based Care: 5+ years of experience in value-based care delivery
• Bilingual: English and Spanish preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Value-Based Care Delivery: Collaborate with leadership to ensure effective implementation and management of value-based care models.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and coordinate high-risk care strategies that align with value-based care objectives.
• Performance Improvement: Provide data-driven feedback to providers, using tools to enhance performance and patient outcomes.
• Quality Management: Review quality dashboards and lead initiatives to improve clinical outcomes.
• Managed Care Expertise: Utilize knowledge of managed care to optimize provider performance and compensation.
• Leadership Development: Mentor and develop internal clinical leaders in problem-solving, communication, conflict resolution, and value-based care.
• Regulatory Compliance: Work closely with executive leadership to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations by developing and implementing necessary protocols.
