Nurse Manager – Medical Oncology (Full-Time, Days)

Job Summary:

The Nurse Manager will oversee daily operations of the Medical Oncology Center, ensuring quality patient care and cost-effective services. This role involves leading staff development, managing budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance while fostering a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations, staffing, and quality improvement efforts.
• Develop and manage budgets for the department.
• Lead the team in delivering high-quality care in a cost-effective manner.
• Implement and monitor programs related to oncology care.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Foster a positive work environment and act as a liaison with physician groups and the general public.
• Lead departmental planning and preparation for regulatory surveys (e.g., TJC).

Qualifications:

• Education: BSN required, MSN preferred.
• Licensure: Active CA RN license and current BLS certification.
• Experience: 3+ years in a supervisory role, oncology and ambulatory care background required.
• Strong management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of hospital operations, CQI, staff development, and public speaking skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $116,480 - $187,200.
