Mammography Technologist
 
Schedule:
    - Monday to Friday (5 x 8-hour shifts), no weekends
- Full-Time
- Day shift
- Facility uses GE equipment
- Busy center with 15-20 patients per day
    
        - New graduates with Mammo Tech registry will be considered.
 
 
Education & Licensure Requirements:
    - Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology school and approved Mammography Technology program
- Basic or Advanced Life Support Certification
- Texas Medical Board (MRT) license or temporary license
- Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R)
- Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M)
 
Responsibilities:
    - Perform mammography exams, ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures and selecting appropriate imaging techniques
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, and administer contrast as necessary
- Enter and monitor patient data, maintain equipment, and perform quality assurance tasks
- Identify/report accidents, complaints, or equipment issues
- Take emergency calls within the department
- Ensure adherence to safety and organizational policies and standards
- Support professional growth, mentoring, and skills competency development
