Commercial Estimator (Stone & Millwork Projects)

Location: In-Person in Providence, RI | Work Type: Full-Time | Schedule: Mon–Fri, 40–50 hours/week

This role could possibly be remote for someone who was willing to come in office at least 1 full week per quarter.

Pay: $55k for junior to mid-level experience, up to $75k for someone with solid commercial estimating background

Bonuses: Quarterly bonuses of $1K–$2K tied to project wins means about $5-10k in annual bonus potential as well

Schedule: Flexible within the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Interpret blueprints and spec sheets to create accurate takeoffs and detailed cost estimates
• Collaborate with clients (owners, GCs, designers, subcontractors), vendors, and our own Project Managers on bids, schedules, and pricing
• Prepare bid documentation, including scope clarifications and alternate value engineering options
• Support team organization — manage project files and transition wins to project managers
• Contribute to a high-functioning estimating team with opportunities to train and mentor others

What You Bring:

• Experience reading architectural/interior blueprints — millwork, cabinetry, stone, or tile projects could all provide the necessary relevant experience
• Comfort using PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or Measure Square (at least one required)
• Track record of commercial estimating — stone, metals, signage, interiors all translate well - anything with construction + custom shop fabrication elements to it
• Strong attention to detail with a documentation-first mindset
• Collaborative nature — open to learning, mentorship, and consistency in process
