The Role

The COO will serve as a senior operational leader, responsible for overseeing day-to-day business operations while partnering closely with executive leadership on strategic initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in driving execution, improving processes, and ensuring alignment across teams and regions.

The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic perspective and hands-on leadership, with the ability to maintain momentum and deliver results in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily operations across multiple regions, ensuring consistent execution and performance
• Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making
• Drive operational initiatives and maintain focus on key business priorities
• Develop, implement, and optimize processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators, including financial, operational, and growth metrics
• Build, develop, and lead high-performing operational teams and regional leaders
• Ensure alignment across cross-functional areas, including operations, logistics, and support functions
• Manage multi-region operational complexities, including compliance and regulatory considerations
• Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in a senior operations leadership role (COO, VP Operations, or equivalent)
• Strong track record in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Experience managing multi-location or multi-region teams
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement
• High level of ownership, accountability, and adaptability
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and making decisions with urgency
• Effective leadership presence with the ability to influence and align teams

Preferred Background

• Experience in operations-heavy industries such as logistics, transportation, field services, or similar sectors
• Demonstrated success scaling organizations or leading through periods of rapid growth
• Experience with P&L ownership and driving financial performance
• Familiarity with multi-state operations and regulatory environments
• Background in structured, high-accountability environments (e.g., military leadership)

Compensation

• High 200K to low 300K OTE
• Performance-based incentives aligned with company growth and outcomes
• Long-term upside tied to individual impact and overall business performance
