A Canadian-owned and operated, multi-branch organization is immediately seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer for their shop in Kitchener.

The Sprinkler Systems Designer will be responsible for designing multiple small to large projects in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Duties include but are not limited to, setting up and conducting hydrant flow tests with property managers, performing hydraulic calculations on new and existing sprinkler systems, complete as-built drawings, review and confirm all deliverables meet NFPA and local standards, etc.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 1 year's sprinkler and fire alarm design experience that are NFPA approved for both new and existing buildings
• Experience with HydraCAD/AutoCAD and hydraulic calculations
• Working expertise of 3D modelling design software (e.g. Revit) a strong asset
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work tasks

Shifts: Days, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Monday - Thursday), 8:00am - 2:30pm (Friday).

Compensation:

• $40,000.00 - $80,000.00/year+++
