We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics for immediate hire in Chatham, Virginia. Tend to a large fleet of earth moving equipment (track & rubber tire). This is primarily a field service position with some shop repair involved. Join a safety oriented construction outfit with over 50 years of success in excavation, grading, road, bridge and dam building.

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $50.00/hour to start.
• Benefits including but not limited to health, dental, life insurance, PTO and 401K with match.

Responsibilities:

• On-site diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repairs of dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks, etc.
• Parts ordering.
• Day shift, 7:00am - 5:00pm (Monday to Friday). Some Saturday's.

Qualifications:

• 10 years experience maintaining heavy duty construction equipment.
• Proven experience repairing hydraulic, electrical, diesel, and mechanical systems/components on heavy equipment.
• Valid drivers license with MVR in good standing.
