Occupational Therapist

Hours: Full Time or Part Time Available

Payrate: $AUD 50-65/hr

Location: Hervey Bay, QLD

 

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist you will play a vital role in enhancing clients’ independence and quality of life through tailored therapy programs. You will work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalised care plans.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored therapy plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy services to clients across various settings, including in-clinic, home, and the community.
  • Manage a varied caseload, including paediatrics, NDIS participants, and aged care clients.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, carers, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Prepare detailed progress reports, assessments, and therapy updates.
  • Support clients in achieving their goals related to daily living, mobility, and community participation.
  • Stay updated with best practices through ongoing professional development.

 

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy
  • Holds current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Has experience or a keen interest in working within the allied health sector.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Can work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Is committed to professional growth and continuous learning.
  • Has knowledge of relevant funding programs such as NDIS, DVA, HCP, and WorkCover (preferred but not essential).
  • Possesses excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Is adaptable and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
