We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support a chemical manufacturing facility producing advanced life science materials including chromatography resins, liquid buffers, monomer solutions, oils, and other specialty products. This role sits within a multidisciplinary Manufacturing Science & Technology team focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance and complex troubleshooting on production equipment
- Conduct production setup of manufacturing equipment
- Assist with equipment installation and startup under engineering direction
- Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications
- Support engineering initiatives, parts qualification, and process evaluations
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement and First Pass Yield initiatives
- Document work activities in CMMS systems
- Make proactive recommendations to enhance preventative maintenance programs
- Provide basic guidance or training to lower-level technicians when needed
- Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to maintain infrastructure reliability

- Allen Bradley RS Logix
- ControlLogix / CompactLogix
- Automation Direct HMIs
- PLC systems
What You Bring
- High school diploma, trade school certification, GED, or equivalent
- 2+ years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong troubleshooting ability across mechanical, electrical, and automated systems
- Advanced knowledge in at least one skilled craft area
- Proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience working with CMMS systems
- Working knowledge of PC systems and MS Office
- Ability to prioritize work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Strong communication skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
- Required licensure if applicable
