The organization fosters a strong, collaborative culture, where employees connect through shared interests including meals, music, volunteering, sports, and community events.

Role Overview

As a Fact Checker, you will be part of the SEO Strategic Content team and play a key role in building trust in the company by ensuring content is accurate, error-free, and aligned with legal and brand guidelines.

Fact checkers must be able to research both the granular details (Is this name spelled correctly? Is this plus/minus number correct?) and the big-picture accuracy (Does the thesis hold up under scrutiny? Do the facts in the first paragraph align with those in the seventh paragraph?).

You will be responsible for verifying content accuracy and developing a reliable library of sources for both current and future content topics.

This role is ideal for someone who is extremely organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about research.

  • • Familiarity with journalism best practices

•Must be able to commit to 20 hours per week

  • If currently working full-time, schedule must be very flexible

•Requires daily availability for brief check-ins and ability to meet weekly deadlines

• Bonus: Experience working for a larger global organization

• Experience working remotely, managing time independently in a high-volume environment

• Ability to communicate professionally with editors, writers, and producers to ensure edits are implemented correctly
