W2 Contract to Possible Hire

Monday-Friday 6:30am-2:30pm

$20/hr

 

We are seeking an Assembler I to be responsible for assembling parts and components according to our manufacturing operating procedures. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong attention to detail.

 

What You’ll Do

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Use hand and/or power tools (such as wire stripper, crimper, drills, soldering station) to assemble and/or package a complete product from scratch or sub-assemblies
  • Acknowledge and communicate product rejects/non-conforming items to production leads to resolve
  • Receive and maintain certified trained status for updated revisions in all relevant Production Lines and their individual stations
  • Document production activities accurately and promptly
  • Report any issues or defects to the production lead/supervisor immediately
  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs
  • Collaborate with team members and support cross-functional activities as needed
  • Work schedule may include shifts and overtime as needed to meet production demands
  • Consistently maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

What You Need to Know

Required Experience / Skills / Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions (MOPs) and basic diagrams in English, as well as verbal instructions, to complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Strong work ethic, ability to take direction, and willingness to ask questions when clarity is needed
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work with hands for extended periods
  • Ability to plan, track, and complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1 year of manufacturing/assembly experience
  • Experience with ISO 13485 or other quality management systems
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
