Title: IT Support Specialist

Location: Montreal, Canada (Onsite)

Payrate: CAD $30-$35/hour

Duration: 12-month assignment with potential for renewal

Hours: 40 hours/week | Monday–Friday | 9am–6pm

Start Date: ASAP

What You'll Do:

  • Provide senior-level technical support to game studios and creative departments, solving complex application and hardware challenges
  • Lead technical projects and mentor team members to deliver outstanding outcomes
  • Prepare and deploy workstations for new users, managing the complete hardware and software lifecycle
  • Troubleshoot sophisticated technical issues and provide strategic solution recommendations
  • Manage IT asset inventory and maintain accurate records in ITAM systems
  • Handle on-site PC preparation, hardware shipping, and remote user support coordination
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for deployments and processes
  • Minimize service disruptions during outages and maintain exceptional customer relationships
  • Support incident management and high-value services with a focus on customer experience
  • Review and optimize ongoing IT operations to drive continuous improvement


What You Bring:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems
  • 3–5 years of expertise with Microsoft Office products and enterprise environments
  • 3–5 years of hardware troubleshooting experience across multiple manufacturers (HP, Dell, etc.)
  • 1–2 years of customer service experience with strong relationship-building skills
  • 1–2 years of IT asset management experience
  • Fluency in both Chinese and English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills


Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience supporting game studios or creative design environments
  • Microsoft Active Directory expertise
  • Knowledge of deployment tools like Microsoft Auto Pilot
  • Understanding of ITIL framework, incident management, and change control processes
  • Mac technical support and troubleshooting experience
  • M365 platform experience (Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, Security tools)
  • French language skills
