Clinical Laboratory & Diagnostics Specialist ( 2nd shift )

$30-32hr (Weekly pay + Benefits)

1yr contract (Excellent potential for permanent)

Full- time: 3pm-11:30pm

Working Clinical Lab Quality Control Specialist ( GLP)under the Quality Control department, you will support in-process testing of raw materials, intermediates. This 1st shift position will work both independently and in a team oriented environment performing daily maintenance, trouble shooting, and testing on clinical diagnostic instrumentation.For the 2nd shift you will support finished product testing and release of company controls. This position will work both independently and, in a team, oriented environment performing daily maintenance, trouble shooting, and testing on clinical diagnostic instrumentation. This position on the 2nd shift starting from 3pm to 11:30pm Monday through Friday.




How You’ll Make An Impact:

  • Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot clinical diagnostic laboratory instruments.
  • Follow good laboratory (GLP) and good documentation practices (GDP).
  • Work collaboratively with a team to achieve daily testing.
  • Evaluate assay runs for accuracy and acceptability to Quality Control procedures and enter results into appropriate software/database.
  • Order supplies required for testing on assigned instrumentation.



What You Bring:

  • Education: AA or higher in science field or equivalent clinical lab experience
  • 2+ years in a Clinical laboratory and diagnostics setting
  • Some experience performing daily maintenance of instrumentation or school experience
  • Familiar with clinical laboratory instruments such as those produced by Beckman, Roche, Siemens, or Abbo
  • Bonus: Experience running chemistry/immunoassay/immunology analyzers and/or ELISAs
  • Able to operate, maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot clinical diagnostic lab instruments.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills in a fast past environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word,
  • Bonus: LIMS a (Laboratory Information Management System
