Performance Tester – CBP Digital Transformation Program

📍 Ashburn, VA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

District Partners is supporting a fully funded digital transformation program within the Department of Homeland Security. We’re hiring a Performance Tester to help execute and refine testing efforts for a high-visibility CBP initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and analyze performance tests using JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, Locust, or similar tools.
• Conduct performance/load, regression, and integration testing.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve and maintain performance test automation frameworks.
• Produce detailed performance test reports with actionable insights and recommendations.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with performance/load testing tools.
• Solid understanding of database systems (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL is a plus).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and version control systems (Git).
• Proven ability to identify and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.

Additional Info:

• Must be local to the DC Metro area and comfortable working onsite in Ashburn, VA 2 days per week.
• This is a long-term contract role with no end date in sight.
• U.S. Citizens only due to federal contract requirements.
