District Partners is proud to support a nationally recognized political advocacy and lobbying organization in the search for a mission-driven Salesforce Developer.

This is more than just a technical role. It’s an opportunity to support a high-impact organization that’s actively shaping policy, influencing national dialogue, and driving real-world outcomes. Your work will empower internal teams to scale faster, act smarter, and mobilize more effectively—through a modern, integrated Salesforce ecosystem.

🏛️ This role requires candidates to be local to Washington, DC, with an expectation of being onsite 1–2 days per week.

🚫 No C2C or visa sponsorship is available.

🔧 What You’ll Do:

  • Build & Customize: Design scalable, customized solutions in Salesforce using Apex, Lightning, and Visualforce.
  • Integrate Systems: Lead API integration efforts and manage connectivity between Salesforce and external platforms using Mulesoft.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with an external Salesforce Architect and internal stakeholders to translate complex requirements into smart, secure solutions.
  • Support & Troubleshoot: Act as the escalation point for technical issues, ensuring uptime and rapid response.
  • Document & Optimize: Maintain thorough documentation for configurations, workflows, and integrations. Keep up with Salesforce platform updates.
  • Advance the Mission: Ensure the tech stack empowers the organization's core mission—advocacy, impact, and operational excellence.

🧠 What You Bring:

  • 5–7 years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning, and custom solutions.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce modules, workflows, and Person Accounts.
  • Mulesoft and API integration experience is a must.
  • Familiarity with SAS/R for data analytics or reporting preferred.
  • Strong grasp of SOQL and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field—or equivalent experience and certifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, paired with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certification preferred.

Who This Role Is For:

This position will appeal to someone who not only wants to build great systems—but wants those systems to support a mission that matters. Given the organization’s visibility and public-facing role, the ideal candidate is thoughtful, values-aligned, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment that blends technical rigor with social impact.

This is your chance to contribute to something larger than code—bringing innovation, stability, and security to an organization helping shape national conversations. You'll be part of a tight-knit team that values collaboration, accountability, and purpose-driven work.
