UI Front-End Developer
Location: Ashburn, VA // Onsite 5days a week for first year—then hybrid
Duration: 12-month Contract-to-Hire (multi-year program)
Clearance: US citizenship required—must be clearable.
District Partners is exclusively supporting our client, a systems integrator leading a major modernization effort for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). This program is focused on rebuilding and replacing legacy applications used for critical law enforcement, border security, and mission operations.
As part of a cross-functional Agile team, the UI Front-End Developer will support the design and development of single-page applications (SPAs) within a microservices architecture. This is a cloud-native program that emphasizes modular, scalable design and continuous delivery, with a strong focus on performance, security, and usability.
About the Project:
The team is delivering a next-generation platform for CBP to better manage operational workflows, data visualization, and decision-making tools across border and homeland security functions. Applications are being re-architected using Spring Boot microservices and modern front-end frameworks to improve speed, maintainability, and user experience.
