District Partners is exclusively supporting a nationally recognized organization on a high-visibility technology initiative and is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a Salesforce integration effort connecting financial and fundraising systems.

This initiative represents one of the organization’s most important technology priorities for the year and carries strong executive visibility. The organization is seeking a seasoned project manager who can bring structure, discipline, and accountability to a complex integration project involving external development vendors, internal technical teams, and business stakeholders.

A key component of this role will be partnering closely with a primary business stakeholder responsible for the initiative on the organizational side. This stakeholder is highly engaged in the project and expects clear communication, organization, and consistent progress updates. The project manager must be comfortable operating in a demanding stakeholder environment while maintaining project structure and momentum.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large-scale enterprise implementation projects and experience managing complex software or systems integrations.

Position Overview

The Senior Project Manager will oversee a Salesforce-based integration initiative connecting financial and fundraising systems. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing the project plan, coordinating vendor development work, managing internal stakeholder alignment, and ensuring the initiative progresses on schedule.

Success in this role requires someone who can apply structured project management methodologies while also serving as the central coordination point between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors. The project manager will help translate business priorities into organized project execution while maintaining clear communication across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a Salesforce-based project focused on integrating financial and fundraising systems
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, work breakdown structures, timelines, and dependencies
• Apply structured project management methodologies to guide the project through planning, execution, testing, and rollout
• Coordinate external vendors responsible for development and implementation work
• Serve as the primary point of coordination between internal stakeholders, leadership, and technical teams
• Work closely with a key business stakeholder to ensure alignment, transparency, and clear project communication
• Facilitate project planning sessions, working groups, and cross-functional coordination meetings
• Track milestones, manage risks, and ensure deliverables remain on schedule
• Support internal testing coordination, rollout planning, and user training efforts
• Provide consistent project status updates and escalation management for leadership and key stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience leading large-scale enterprise implementation or systems integration projects
• Demonstrated experience managing complex software implementation initiatives with defined timelines and multiple stakeholder groups
• Experience supporting Salesforce implementations or integrations
• Experience supporting financial systems integration projects within large enterprise environments
• Experience in the gaming or gambling industry is a strong plus
• Experience supporting large enterprise financial systems, transaction platforms, or regulated financial environments
• Strong understanding of structured project management methodologies and project planning practices
• Proven ability to manage demanding stakeholder environments and maintain project alignment across business and technical teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience coordinating external vendors alongside internal cross-functional teams
• Ability to maintain organization, accountability, and delivery momentum across complex initiatives
• U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
• CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) certification

Additional Details:

• This role is primarily remote, with the expectation of approximately one on-site working session per month in Washington, DC. Travel expenses for on-site meetings will be covered.
• The engagement will begin as a fractional role at approximately 30 hours per week, with a strong likelihood of increasing to a full-time 40-hour schedule as the project progresses. The contract is expected to run for a minimum of 12 months and offers the opportunity to lead a highly visible technology initiative while helping strengthen project management discipline across the organization.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
