About the Pastor of Teaching and Discipleship:
This full-time position serves on the Leadership Team. They serve as a co-pastor of the church and are the primary preacher/teacher. This position leads and oversees discipleship through the Adult, Kids/Students, and Worship Ministry teams.
The Pastor of Teaching and Discipleship's Responsibilities Include:
Primary Preaching/Teaching Pastor
• Co-pastors Remembrance Church with Pastor of Care and Leadership
• Provide Leadership to Staff as a member of the Pastoral Leadership Team
• Primary Discipleship leader who champions vision, philosophy and implementation of Remembrance Church’s Discipleship Strategy and Initiatives.
• Primary for Proactive Shepherding Care with Elders
• Work closely with the Execution Team to ensure that ideas become reality
• Along with the Leadership Team, work closely with church leadership in discerning, refining, and stewarding God’s vision for Remembrance Church.

• Believes and supports the evangelical Christian faith in the Reformed tradition as outlined in the Organizational Convictions of the Alliance of Reformed Churches.
• Must agree with and sign the Covenant of the Ordained, and ordained as a pastor in a manner recognized by the Alliance of Reformed Churches (original ordination, transfer, or as an affiliate pastor whose ordination remains with another denomination).
• Embraces Remembrance Church’s shared leadership model.
• Actively worshipping and involved at Remembrance Church.
• Self Aware, Healthy, and Humble
