District Partners has been retained by a rapidly growing national wealth management and advisory firm to identify a Senior HR Business Partner who will serve as a strategic advisor to leaders across the organization.


This individual will play a key role in aligning people strategy with business growth, partnering closely with executive leadership to drive initiatives related to talent management, employee engagement, organizational development, and change management. The ideal candidate brings both strategic perspective and hands-on execution, thriving in environments where HR leaders are trusted advisors helping organizations scale while maintaining a strong culture.

What You'll Do:

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization, providing guidance on organizational design, leadership development, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
  • Partner with business leaders to align HR initiatives with strategic priorities and business outcomes.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness.


Organizational Development & Change Management

  • Lead and support initiatives related to organizational growth, restructuring, and transformation, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals.
  • Partner with leadership to manage change effectively, helping teams navigate evolving priorities and organizational shifts.
  • Apply a consultative approach to identify root causes of workforce challenges and design practical solutions.


Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, balancing business objectives with a positive employee experience.
  • Partner with leadership to proactively identify and mitigate risk while ensuring compliance with employment policies and applicable regulations.
  • Interpret HR policies and provide clear guidance to managers and employees.


Mergers & Acquisitions Integration

  • Support the people-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including employee onboarding, integration planning, and change management.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for leaders and newly integrated teams during periods of organizational transition.


Talent Programs & Workforce Insights

  • Help design and implement HR programs related to performance management, employee engagement, retention, and professional development.
  • Analyze workforce metrics and HR data to identify trends, provide insights, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Partner with HR leadership and learning teams to strengthen onboarding and leadership development initiatives.


What You'll Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including time serving as an HR Business Partner or in a consultative HR role.
  • Experience working in financial services, investment management, or other professional services environments is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices including employee relations, organizational development, performance management, and employment law.
  • Experience leveraging HRIS systems and people analytics to inform decisions and improve the employee experience.
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.
