What we're looking for 

Our client, a fast-growing NYC-based boutique digital marketing agency, is seeking an SEO Analyst to join their team. This agency partners with leading e-commerce brands, delivering high-touch digital marketing management and strategic growth consulting. As an SEO Analyst, you'll play a critical role in driving organic traffic, optimizing websites, and ensuring clients maintain strong visibility across search engines. 


We're looking for a strong executor who can take clear direction and run with it independently, present findings to clients on calls, and provide valuable support to a small team, with the potential to grow into a strategic lead role over time.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research, SERP analysis, and competitor monitoring to identify growth opportunities.
  • Optimize site structures, metadata, and on-page content for improved rankings and user experience.
  • Audit websites for technical SEO issues (sitemaps, redirects, indexation, mobile optimization).
  • Lead crawl analysis, site migrations, and schema implementation to ensure strong technical SEO foundations.
  • Monitor GSC and GA4 consistently, pulling actionable insights to guide ongoing optimizations.
  • Build dashboards and report on KPIs such as traffic, rankings, and conversions.
  • Present findings and recommendations directly to clients on calls, providing valuable support to a small team.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create and implement SEO-driven content strategies.


Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience.
  • Proven expertise in crawl analysis, site migrations, schema markup, AEO, and GSC/GA4 monitoring and insight pulling.
  • E-commerce SEO experience, with hands-on implementation across multiple platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WordPress, or similar
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and dashboard creation.
  • A strong executor who can take clear direction and run with it independently, with the potential to grow into a strategic lead role.
  • Confident communicator able to present findings to clients and support a small, collaborative team.

  • Awareness of AI-driven search changes and their impact on SEO.
